Stephanie Broeke

Founder of Welcome Home

After graduating from Hotelschool The Hague hospitality business school, Stephanie Broeke built a successful career in the travel industry. After working for various luxury travel brands, she became the founder and managing partner of one of the Netherlands’ largest tour operators for group travel tours. In 2018, Stephanie found herself ready to take on new challenges and stepped down as managing director. Soon after, she founded Welcome Home.

Stephanie calls Welcome Home the result of her love for the hospitality industry, combined with the experience she gained while traveling and working abroad. This is how she got acquainted with the concept of luxury concierge services and premium property management.

Stephanie is convinced that Amsterdam belongs right at the top with cosmopolitan cities like London and New York, where affluent clients can have access to exceptional home management and concierge services 24/7. Recognizing the demand for these types of services in her own hometown, she decided to launch Welcome Home in Amsterdam. Thanks to her years of experience in the hospitality industry, combined with her organizational skills and extensive network, it became an instant success.

Marjolein van Ooijen

Home Manager

After finishing studies at NHTV and Hotelschool Amsterdam, Marjolein gained experience in different roles at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, where hospitality and service were top priorities. Later, she began freelancing in hospitality, events, and cultural sectors, taking on diverse responsibilities like event management, sales, and software implementation for events. Throughout, her focus on service remained consistent, allowing her to leverage her organizational skills effectively. Marjolein is working closely with Stephanie to ensure our existing clients receive the best care possible.

Puck Brouwer

Home Assistant

Puck graduated from the Maastricht Hotel School in 2021 and was immediately offered the opportunity to work at the PR & Communications agency, where she also completed an internship. But the dream of flying for a few years remained, and in 2022 Puck passed with flying colors at KLM's training program and will start working as a flight attendant in early 2023. The service-oriented, entrepreneurial Puck supports Welcome Home during the periods she is home in Amsterdam. With this driven and service minded attitude she is an invaluable member of our team.
